Here’ what our patients are saying
“I sleep better, my legs feel great, and I don’t struggle to exercise anymore! Wish I would have done it sooner!” – K.C.
“I am very happy with the treatment at the clinic. Dr. Gilvydis and the staff were always very nice, friendly and informative as to what was being done. The pain was minimal and well worth it. My legs look and feel so much better. Thank you!” – J.E.
“The pain due to the ulceration reduced immediately after surgery and now two months following, the ulceration is almost totally healed. Prior to the procedure, there were days I had much difficulty walking comfortably due to the pain, now I am thankfully pain free.” – Anonymous
“Dr. Gilvydis is very good. He explains every detail so you understand what is going on with your veins. I had a very bad right leg with a lot of varicose veins. I had previous vein stripping 15 years ago. This new method is much less invasive and the healing process is shorter. I was back to work in 2 days. I have a cleaning business that requires me to be on my feet all day. I highly recommend this procedure. Thanks so much, doctor.” – M.M.
“After 40 years of aching and swelling and some bouts with phlebitis, the laser surgery took care of my symptoms. 25 years ago I had vein stripping of my left leg. The veins reappeared. I felt tired and my legs ached. I underwent laser surgery with Dr Gilvydis and now still after 4 years there are no signs of any varicose veins or symptoms. Don’t hesitate to get the laser treatment done – and YES insurance covered it all!” – R.M.
“After a referral to a dermatologist from my family doctor for sores on my legs that would not heal, I was eventually referred to Dr Gilvydis at his vein clinic. After laser treatment, my legs are no longer irritated, swollen, or itchy. Thank you Dr Gilvydis and staff for your superior care.” – P.G.
“My experience with Dr Gilvydis has been a rewarding one. I myself had an ulcer on my right leg, which I have had for about a year. It started out as a rash which then developed into a little sore, which I thought I got while shaving, itching my leg, or possibly cutting myself at work. I tried to cover this area up with make-up during the summer months but this sore just kept getting bigger and deeper. Pain started shooting up my leg, which then made it difficult to work. This ulcer was extremely deep (the doctors have never seen one so deep before).
“Finally, the area got infected, my leg swelled and I developed a rash around that area. I went to the ER where they gave me antibiotics and an ointment to rub over the infected area. The infection went down but the ulcer kept growing.
“I went to see a dermatologist who immediately told me that the ulcer was due to my varicose veins. Varicose veins run on my mother’s side of my family, but have never bothered me like they do my mother. The dermatologist referred me to Dr Gilvydis.
“I called his vein clinic and scheduled an appointment that week. They did an ultrasound and pointed out to me that my varicose veins were feeding this ulcer. Within one week of that appointment, Dr Gilvydis performed laser treatment. The results have been phenomenal. My ulcer has been getting better day by day, my calf muscle is actually smaller (I thought I just had bigger muscles in this leg), and I no longer have pain.
“I can now wear shorts and not feel like I have a disease on my leg. It’s been the best experience and I have absolutely no regrets of having this procedure done. Pain during the procedure is minimal. The outcome is like a whole new meaning on life. Dr Gilvydis and his staff at his vein clinic are very patient and understanding and I thank them tremendously for giving myself as well as others a new and better way of life.” – L.T.
“I was told that varicose veins were cosmetic. After Dr. Gilvydis treated them with laser, I no longer have any bulging veins, pain or discomfort at the end of a long day.” – S.B.
